I have come to a realisation that online businesses particularly SEO companies in QLD are starting to boom.
Every week, I do a search on SEO positions based in Brisbane and other states of Australia via job sites such as Seek.com.au and Careerone.com.au. Why I do this search? Well although this may not result in real statistics it still gives me a brief understanding of the demand of Digital Marketing jobs based in Australia. What I found out is there is a huge untapped market space for social media marketers.
With many jobs getting retrenched, in my opinion skilling up in the digital marketing space may just be your ticket to a secure job. What I don’t understand is all of a sudden last week onward I am starting to see a rise in positions available in the online space (Yes I’m talking about internet marketing job and not programming jobs!).

Absolutely right – people are starting to realise that they can get more bang for their buck so to speak with a good SEO plan in place. Unlike printed marketing material and other conventional forms of marketing – the web is 24/7 wordlwide marketing – utilised to it’s full extent it can easily be the one point of contact that can make or break a company! Especially in the current financial climate – exposure to your business is key, and getting noticed online is quite frankly a big deal these days. Not only must you have a website – it’s got to be slick, easily accesible and well referenced by the major search engines – otherwise the only clients that are going to find you are the existing ones!
